A DRIVER caught over the limit on the M275 has been banned from the roads.

Vlad Covaciu, 26, admitted drink-driving after being caught on August 19.

A test revealed he had 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mg legal limit.

Portsmouth magistrates fined him £400 and imposed a 15-month ban.

Covaciu, of London Road, Hilsea, must pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
