DRINK-DRIVER Martin Loveridge has been banned from the roads.

Loveridge, 37, admitted driving a vehicle in Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, without insurance after drinking too much.

A test revealed his breath contained 65 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Loveridge, of Rapson Close, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, was banned from driving for 18 months and told to pay £215 by Portsmouth magistrates.

He admitted driving the car without a valid licence and failing to answer bail. No separate penalties were imposed.
