DRINK-DRIVER Helen Sherlock has been banned from the roads.

Sherlock pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle in Copnor Road, Copnor, after drinking too much on November 10.

A test revealed her blood contained 91 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80mg.

Sherlock, 47, Glenthorne Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates. She was banned from driving for a year.

The ban could be reduced by three months on the condition that she pays to complete a government-approved driving course by August 31.
