DRINK-DRIVER Catherine Cheyne has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

The 30-year-old admitted driving a Volkswagen Polo on the M27 near Fareham after drinking too much on July 10.

A test revealed her breath contained 128 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80mg.

Cheyne, of Courtmount Grove, Cosham, was told to pay £575 in a fine and costs by Fareham magistrates.

She was banned from driving for a year.
