TWO teenage girls who were spotted near the scene of an arson shortly before the blaze took hold are urged to contact police.
Officers believe the girls, who are thought to be aged about 15, could hold vital information about the fire at flats in Oriel Road, North End.
Firefighters were called after bins at the back of the building were set alight at about 8pm on Wednesday. No-one was hurt.
PC Jody Hendry said: ‘We are keen to contact the two young women seen in the area, they may hold vital information. It is extremely fortunate that this fire was reported swiftly. There was real potential to endanger the lives of residents.’
Call police on 101.
