A MAN has been told to pay compensation for damaging a window.

Christopher Ryder, from Thorncroft Road, Fratton, admitted committing the crime in Crown Street, Landport.

The 35-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge by Portsmouth magistrates.

He must also pay £50 in costs and £50 compensation.
