MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cannabis.

Ben Grove admitted having the class B drug on him in Palmerston Road, Southsea, on February 18.

Grove, 22, of Meyrick Road, North End, Portsmouth, was fined £100 and told to pay £85 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims by Portsmouth magistrates.

An order was made for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
