A MAN has been fined for driving without due care and attention.

Ronald Forrest, of Stubbington Avenue, Portsmouth, had denied committing the offence while driving a Citroen Xsara Picasso in Gladys Avenue, North End, on October 7.

However the 47-year-old was found guilty by Fareham magistrates and fined £260. He was also told to pay £500 costs and £15 into a fund for victims of crime.

Four penalty points were added to his driving licence.
