A MAN has been fined for possessing cannabis.

Christopher Machin, 28, of Northover Road, Portsmouth, admitted having the class B drug on him in Portsmouth.

He was fined £105 and told to pay £65 in court costs and £15 to a fund for victims of crime by Portsmouth magistrates.

An order was made for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
