ALCOHOL thief Mark Dundon has been given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Dundon, from Dormington Road, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing 10 cans of lager and a bottle of wine from a Co-op store in Portsmouth. The goods were worth £12.54.

The 39-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge by Portsmouth magistrates.

Dundon was also ordered to pay £65 in court costs.

Magistrates decided to make no separate order for compensation.
