THIEF Matthew Perry has been caught.

The 26-year-old, of Waverley Road, Southsea, admitted stealing coffee worth £17.86 and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour at a supermarket in Albert Road, Southsea.

He pleaded guilty to stealing goods from Sainsbury’s in Albert Road, Southsea.

The crimes were committed between June 23 and 26.

Perry was given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £16.76 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge by Portsmouth magistrates.
