SERIAL thief Michael Dearling has been told to stay in at night.

Dearling, 23, of Newcome Road, Portsmouth, admitted stealing two bikes in Portsmouth – one on June 30 and the other on July 3.

He also pleaded guilty to stealing sweets from the 99p Store in London Road, North End, Portsmouth, on July 1.

Dearling was ordered not to leave his home between 1pm and 8pm daily for a month by Portsmouth magistrates.
