POLICE have charged a woman with handling goods stolen in a burglary.

Megan Norval is alleged to have been found with a stash of stolen property, including games consoles, a camera and £150.

The belongings were taken in a raid on a woman’s house in Southsea.

Norval, of Fifth Avenue, Portsmouth, did not enter a plea to the charge of handling stolen goods when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

District Judge Anne Arnold said the case would be heard at the crown court. Norval, 27, an unemployed mum-of-two was released on bail to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court in September.
