A WOMAN who smashed a glass panel in a door at a McDonalds restaurant has been told to pay compensation.

Unemployed Emma Bairner damaged the door and shouted abuse at a woman in the restaurant in West Street, Havant.

Bairner, of Byron Road, Buckland, Portsmouth admitted to criminal damage and a public order offence when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The 25-year-old was given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay a total of £335 in compensation and court costs.
