A WOMAN has been fined after she admitted to being drunk in charge of a child.

Jasmine Thwaites, of Samuel Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to committing the offence while she was in public in Kingston, Portsmouth, on September 18.

The 28-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

She was ordered to pay £15 to a fund for victims of crime.

Thwaites was also told to pay £50 in court costs.
