COMMUNITY safety is on the agenda at a police pop-up shop.

The Waterlooville North and Central Safer Neighbourhood Team will be joined by trading standards, neighbourhood watch and other community teams on Friday in The Boulevard in Waterlooville town centre.

PCSO Chris Penfold from the Waterlooville police team said: ‘There will be a focus on educating people to reduce the chance of them becoming victims of doorstep crime, bogus cold callers and how to protect their homes against burglars.

‘Plus there will be an opportunity for people to register valuable property on the immobilise website linked to the Police National Computer.’

There will be also be games, questionnaires and refreshments.

The event takes place from 10.30am until 3pm.
