A TEENAGER caught behind the wheel while more than twice the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.

Tomos Bright, 19, of Mabey Close, Gosport, admitted committing the offence in Stokes Bay Road, Gosport.

A test revealed his breath contained 83 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Bright was fined £240 and told to pay £24 to a fund for victims of crime and £85 in court costs. He was banned from driving for 22 months.
