A 20-YEAR-OLD man needed hospital treatment after being assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone.

He was walking into Froddington Road from Somers Road in Portsmouth when the attack happened.

The victim was assaulted by two men who stole his mobile phone before running onto Somers Road between 5.55pm and 6.05pm on Sunday.

The victim was treated for injuries to his head and elbows.

The first suspect is of Middle Eastern appearance, about 5ft 9in, slim and in his late teens to early 20s.

He wore a light grey hooded top and light blue jeans.

The second is black, 5ft to 5ft 8in tall, slim and in his late teens to early 20s.

He also wore a light grey hooded top and dark bottoms. Call 101.
