A 14-YEAR-OLD boy needed hospital treatment after being attacked by a dog in Portsmouth.

The victim was walking in Drayton Road near to the junction with Stubbington Road, in North End, and was on his way to school between 7.45am and 8.15am, yesterday.

He was approached by a brown dog, which bit his right forearm.

The dog was described as being with a slim woman, who had long dark hair. It’s alleged she refused to stop after the assault, and then walked off with the dog.

Hampshire police is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
