AN APPEAL has been launched to find a man who has gone missing from his Havant home.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 68 year-old Havant man Edward Ingle.

Edward, who is also known by his middle name of Andy, was last seen in the New Lane area of the town on Tuesday, July 7.

Police believe he may now be in the Bournemouth area of Dorset as he has visited the town before for prolonged periods.

Edward is described as white, of a slim build, has grey messy short receding hair, and was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and was carrying fabric carrier bags.

Anyone who has seen him should contact PC Karen Day at Waterlooville police station on 101 quoting 44150183755, or via the website: http://www.hampshire.police.uk/internet/do-it-online/online-forms/message-for-officer.html
