A VALUABLE Rolex watch, gold sovereign ring and jewellery were stolen in a burglary.

Hampshire Constabulary said the raid on the third-floor flat was the third similar incident in that area of Southsea in four days.

It happened between 9am and 7pm on Monday. Oyster heritage cufflinks were also taken.

A spokeswoman said: ‘Residents are asked to review their home security.’

The first burglary happened between 12.30pm and 11.05pm on July 17 in South Parade.

Money and jewellery were taken in the raid.

Then between 6pm on July 17 and 10am on July 18 money and jewellery were stolen from a flat in Clarence Pier.

Anyone who may be able to help identify who is responsible, or has been offered any of these items for sale should contact the Eastern Investigation team at Fratton police station on 101 quoting 44150249928.
