A DISTINCTIVE locket has been stolen in a house burglary.

It was among a number of items of jewellery taken in the raid on a house in Lincoln Avenue, Bognor between November 21 and 27. Details have just been revealed..

The gold locket is small and on a short chain. On one side of the pendent was a picture of a young blonde boy wearing a blue top.

On the other side of the pendent was a lock of the boy’s hair. He was the victim’s uncle and died when he was young.

The rest of the jewellery stolen is thought to be Georgian and included a gold pearl ring with eight pearls encased in gold claws and a brooch with pearls and rubies.
