SERIAL thief Perry Harris has been fined.

Harris, 26, of Warwick Crescent, Southsea, admitted stealing a DVD, a bottle of spirits and a pair of pliers from Asda at The Bridge Centre in Fratton, Portsmouth.

He pleaded guilty to taking children’s shoes worth £16 from Marks & Spencer in Commercial Road, Landport, Portsmouth, and two pairs of trousers and two tops worth £31 from Primark in the same street.

And he admitted stealing a T-shirt, toy car and sunglasses from TK Maxx at Cascades in Portsmouth and an £8 sweatshirt from Matalan in Station Street, Portsmouth.

The crimes were committed on July 24.

Harris was fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
