THIEF Lewis Healy has been jailed for shoplifting.

The 25-year-old, of St Mary’s Road, Portsmouth, admitted stealing meat from Sainsbury’s in Portsmouth on March 14 and a joint of pork from a Co-op in Sultan Road, Portsmouth, on July 1.

He admitted using threatening words or behaviour in Portsmouth on March 14 and to four counts of failing to surrender to custody. Healy was found guilty of assaulting a police officer in Portsmouth Road, Cosham, on April 11.

He was jailed for 42 days by Portsmouth magistrates.
