MAGISTRATES gave a shoplifter an 18-month conditional discharge.

Victoria Rogers stole jewellery and clothes worth £80 from Sainsbury’s in Farlington.

Rogers, 33, of Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham, pleaded guilty to theft at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates told her she will not receive any further punishment if she stays out of trouble for the next 18 months.
