A SHOPLIFTER who stole shirts worth £342 from a city store has been jailed.

Justin Fixter, 37, from Canal Walk, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing the clothing from a Matalan store in Portsmouth.

Fixter also admitted stealing a £26 bottle of Jack Daniels from Waitrose in Marmion Road, Southsea

He was sentenced to three weeks in prison by Fareham magistrates. Fixter was ordered to pay £26 in compensation.
