A SHOPLIFTER who stole more than £470 of goods has been ordered to do unpaid work.

Henry Willis, 30, of Pendennis Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing clothes worth £476.50 from a Matalan store in Portsmouth.

He also admitted breaching a community order.

Willis was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work in the next year by Portsmouth magistrates.

He must pay £85 in court costs and £60 to a fund for victims of crime.
