SERIAL thief James Wallis has been jailed.

Wallis, from Agincourt Road, Buckland, Portsmouth, admitted stealing hair straighteners from Asda at The Bridge Centre in Fratton when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The 26-year-old also pleaded guilty to stealing £297 of clothes from Marks & Spencer in Commercial Road, Landport, Portsmouth.

And he admitted stealing £360 of coats from Evans at the Cascades shopping centre in Landport, Portsmouth.

Wallis was sentenced to six weeks in prison.
