MAGISTRATES ordered that a drink-driver who didn’t have any insurance is banned from the roads for a year.

Adrian Creek was stopped by police as he drove on the Eastern Road in Portsmouth.

A breathalyser test revealed the 40-year-old had 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 mg. A further police check on the car showed Creek didn’t have any insurance.

Creek, of Teddington Road, Southsea, admitted at Portsmouth Magistrates Court drink-driving and driving without insurance. He was fined £450 with £100 in costs.
