MOTORIST Julian Kirk drove while twice the legal alcohol limit.

Kirk, 39, of Fair Oak Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle in Locksway Road, Milton, after drinking too much.

A test revealed his breath contained 77 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitre. The legal limit is 35mg.

He was fined £400 and told to pay £85 in court costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims by Portsmouth magistrates.

Kirk was banned from driving for two years.
