MOTORIST Trevor Keane was caught driving while three times the legal alcohol limit.

Keane pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle in Winter Road, Southsea, after drinking too much on November 3.

A test revealed the 41-year-old’s breath contained 105 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Keane, of Boulton Road, Southsea, was told to pay £850 in a fine and costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

Keane was banned from driving for two years.

But the ban could be reduced by six months if he completes a government-approved driving course by March 11 2013.
