MAGISTRATES have remanded a man in custody after he was charged with a burglary.

Daniel Storey is alleged to have broken into a house in Old Commercial Road, Portsmouth, on August 16.

Storey, of Kings Road, Southsea, did not enter a plea to the charge when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates ruled that the case was so serious it should be heard at the crown court.

The 29-year-old was remanded in custody until next month when he will appear at Portsmouth Crown Court.
