MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cannabis.

James Buckland Harries, 29, of Collingwood Road, Southsea, admitted having the class B drug on him in Albert Road, Southsea.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Portsmouth magistrates made and order for the cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
