A MAN who destroyed Hampshire police property has been ordered to pay compensation to the force.

Adam Pieri, 36, of St Paul’s Road, Southsea, admitted damaging a copy of the Police Codes of Practice in a cell at Portsmouth Central police station in Winston Churchill Avenue and to failing to surrender to custody.

Pieri was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £35 by Portsmouth magistrates.
