MOTORIST Stephen Ryan was caught driving while almost three times the drink-drive limit.

Ryan, from Norfolk Street, Southsea, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Mondeo in Bedford Street, Southsea, after drinking too much on November 5.

A test revealed that Ryan’s breath contained 91 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

The 60-year-old was banned from driving for two years and fined £20 by Portsmouth magistrates.

Ryan was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims.
