THIEF Daniel Wheeler has been told to do 60 hours of unpaid work.

Wheeler, 29, of Nelson Road, Southsea, stole clothes worth £350 from Matalan in Portsmouth.

At the time he was the subject of a community order after driving off without paying for petrol at the Shell garage in London Road, Waterlooville.

Wheeler pleaded guilty to theft and breaching his community order when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He will have to carry out the work within the next 12 months.
