RECENT thefts have led Sussex Police to issue a reminder to vehicle owners not to leave items on display.

It follows an unlocked car being raided in Otard Close, Selsey, between 10pm on March 9 and 9am on March 10.

The crooks made off with a haul of DVDs.

Then between 4pm on March 10 and midday on March 11 a bag of food was stolen from a vehicle that was left unlocked in Marine Drive, Selsey.

A spokeswoman said: ‘Please remember to lock your vehicles and not to leave anything of value on display.’
