A MOTORCYCLIST has been fined £300 for speeding.

Barry Lloyd, 37, of Arundel Street, Landport, was caught on February 29 on the A3(M) at Horndean.

He was travelling at a speed exceeding 70mph.

Portsmouth magistrates imposed six points on his licence with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Lloyd’s guilty plea was taken into account when he was sentenced.
