A MURDER trial has been put on hold after a juror fell ill.

The ongoing trial of Marc Lindsey, of Hill Park Road in Gosport, for the killing of Eddie Vials could not be picked up at Winchester Crown yesterday.

Lindsey, 35, is accused of stabbing Mr Vials, 47, to death at Lindsey’s home on Christmas Eve.

Court staff were confident that the trial would resume today.
