BETTING shop staff were threatened during a robbery in Portsmouth.

A man entered the Betfred shop, in Havant Road, Drayton, and approached the counter – showing a member of staff what appeared to be a gun – between 7.55pm and 8.14pm on Saturday, January 28.

He demanded cash and left after an unknown sum was handed over. No staff were injured.

The suspect is male, Asian or Indian in appearance and wore dark clothing.
