THE site of a former police station will go under the hammer at auction.

Eight vacant bedsits on the former site of Leigh Park’s police station, at 194-196 Dunsbury Way, are to be sold by property auctioneer Clive Emson.

The freehold guide price is £340,000 to £360,000.

Auctioneer Rob Marchant said the building had scope for conversion or possibly redeveloping the site.

The auction takes place from 11am at the Ageas Bowl, near Southampton, on February 11.
