A DOG that was found in Fareham has been reunited with its owner more than two years after it was stolen.

The springer spaniel was stolen from a garden in Kings Worthy, Winchester, in November 2010.

A member of the public found her in Fareham and took her to a vet, who was able to trace its owner.

Police from the North Hampshire Countrywatch team executed a warrant at Tynefield caravan site, Whiteley Lane, Fareham yesterday, and arrested a 34-year-old man from Fareham on suspicion of theft. He is being questioned by police.
