POLICE say the sudden death of a man in Southsea is no longer being treated as suspicious.

It comes after officers were called to a home in Francis Avenue yesterday.

A post mortem examination was carried out on the 39-year-old man today.

While his death remains unexplained, officers are satisfied that it is not suspicious.

An investigation will continue before a coroner’s inquest is held into the cause of the man’s death.
