A TEENAGER has been charged with racially or religiously aggravated harassment.

Sussex Police dealt with a report that a 16-year-old boy, from Chichester, had received a number of racist and homophobic text messages earlier this month.

Ashley Neil May, 19, of Kent Road, Chichester, was arrested and subsequently charged.

He was released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 25.
