A TEENAGER caught drink-driving has been banned from the roads.

Garry Finnie, 19, pleaded guilty to committing the offence while driving a Vauxhall Astra in Woodland Close, Gosport.

A test revealed his breath contained 71 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.

Finne, from Swanton Close, Fareham, was banned from getting behind the wheel for 17 months.

He was fined £500 and told to pay £85 costs and £15 to crime victims by Fareham magistrates.
