A FOREIGN student was threatened with a knife in Worthing after she tried to resist a sexual assault by a group of men.

Sussex Police today have urged any witnesses to come forward as they revealed that the attack happened on October 2.

The victim was assaulted between 11pm and midnight while she with her friends.

“They were approached by a group of ten men of Middle-Eastern appearance, five of whom touched the girl over her clothing,” said a Sussex Police spokesman.

“When she resisted, one of the group produced a knife and pointed it at her, but she managed to break away and flee.”

The assault happened at Broadwater Green in Worthing.
