A 15-year-old girl has been the victim of a sexual assault in Portsmouth.

Police are investigating after the teenager was assaulted over her clothes when she was approached by a man in North End Avenue, just after 11.30am, on Sunday.

She shouted at him and he ran off in the direction of Gladys Avenue.

He is described as looking Oriental with dark hair and glasses. He is thought to be aged in his 30s.
