A TEENAGER who was arrested after a man was stabbed on a cyclepath has been bailed by police.

The 17-year-old boy was held in connection with the attack on a 22-year-old man near Toronto Road in Gosport.

He has been bailed to return to Fareham police station on November 12.

The attack happened on Monday at 11.20pm.

The victim, from Gosport, remains in hospital but his injuries are not 
life-threatening. He was approached by two men who asked for his mobile phone.

When he refused to hand it over, he was stabbed.

The 17-year-old, from Gosport, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
