Police punish 10-year-old girls for theft at Hayling Island holiday park

A 13-year-old boy was kicked in the face during an attack.

The victim was walking outside the Healthy Living Centre in Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, when he was approached from behind by two boys thought to be aged 14 or 15.

He fell to the ground after being kicked in the back of the legs, where he was then kicked in the face.

The boy was left struggling to see after suffering swelling to his face in the attack, which happened at about 4.30pm on Thursday.

PC Matthew Bavin, said: ‘Children would have been coming home from school and Allaway Avenue is generally a busy area around the shops throughout the day.

‘I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch with us as soon as possible.’
