A YOB who caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage when he smashed the wing mirrors off four cars has been told to pay compensation.

Simon Frise left a trail of destruction in Victoria Road, Emsworth, on April 18.

He damaged a Vauxhall combi van, a Vauxhall Astra, a VW Golf and a Nissan Micra.

Frise, 18, of Conigar Road, Emsworth, pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal damage when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was ordered to pay £515 in compensation and £85 in costs. Frise will also have to spend 30 hours at an attendance centre which will address his behaviour.
